About RSSTech.Net.This website is a quick, reference site for Resource Systems Services ... a Southern Wisconsin-based free-lance proprietorship that provides consulting, systems integration, security and technical support assistance to small-office and home-office operations.
|
Established in 2000
The business began as a result of friends who, in the course of running their own proprietorship or mom-and-pop shop, had need of technical help. In some cases it was with existing software and equipment; in others, it involved ground-up assistance in migrating their business to the digital age.
And at a cost that is reasonable for the limited budgets and overhead so common in running small-office and home-office businesses. |
Our GoalTo provide personal, face-to-face consulting and support in an era when so much service is provided remotely. In the process, the aim is to provide satisfaction in the context of trust and relationship. Tech services, perhaps even more than other service industries, has largely aimed for profits and volume at the cost of relationship, particularly in the long-term.
That's not a worthwhile trade-off. Building meaningful relationships is one of the reasons we exist, after all. |

As an FYI, the photo to the left is circa 1994. J.T. looks much older and greyer now. As such, his exposure to the security needs of his clients has been building since about 2000. Resource Systems Services provides security consulting and solutions for his clients as well, as the threat to everyone's digital security is a constantly changing landscape.

Actually, the x61 is not the smallest platform upon which Resource Systems Services has been known to operate, although it may well be the smallest Windows-based laptop with a 4x3-aspected sizable screen [indeed, notice the lack of a trackpad and, yes, some Chromebooks are smaller, and I own one that is smaller in some respects and lighter].
Do you what distinguishes the x61 and makes it a truly uncomfortable laptop for many users (and why it offers an unlikely recommendation)? Do you even care? Copyright, 2019, 2021, Resource Systems Services |
